Prof Tom Blundell’s visit at DSIMB lab

Sir Tom Blundell is Director of Research and Professor Emeritus In the Department of Biochemistry, University of Cambridge. Until 2009 he was Sir William Dunn Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge, and Head of the Council of Biological Sciences.
He is with Louise Johnson the co-author of the famous book “Protein Crystallography” published by Academic Press in 1976, an all-time bestseller in the area.
Prof Tom Blundell is visiting DSIMB between April 10th and 16th 2011.
Visit of Prof N. Srinivasan from IISc

Prof N. Srinivasan from IISc (Bangalore India) is visiting DSIMB from April 1st to 29th. He has been nominated every year as a visiting professor by University of La Reunion since 2004. Prof N. Srinivasan research in collaboration with DSIMB is on the analysis of protein structures using a structural alphabet. With Assist. Prof Bernard Offmann, he is co-guiding Swapnil Mahajan, a PhD student who recently joined the lab.
Visit of Prof Sowdhamini from NCBS

Prof R. Sowdhamini from NCBS (Bangalore, India) is visiting DSIMB between April 1st and 29th. Prof Sowdhamini is co-supervisor of Malini Manoharan who is a joint PhD student between University of La Reunion and Manipal University. Prof R. Sowdhamini has continuously been nominated since 2005 as a visiting professor by University of La Reunion.
